Helping Humans of All Races and Religions

Assalamualaikum wbt and peace be upon you,
.
A reader who read my previous post on "Going International From Home" asked me whether our family only help Muslims.
.
The answer is, we help everyone in need, regardless of race or religion.
.
1. For example, once a month, a charity lorry from a Buddhist organization in Johor would make a round in our area. They would ask for any donations like furniture, electrical items, pens or pencils, etc and money. They would always stop at our house coz my mom would save something for them.
.
2. We always donate our stuff in a charity box/bin which belongs to a Non-Muslim organization.
.
3. Sometimes my mom would purposely put plastic stuffs and old newspapers which we have collected in the  garbage bin. So, when the garbage collectors come, they will take the stuffs and sell it. It's a kind of sadaqah (donation/charity) also.
.
4. When a student in my school has a misfortune, we would all give donations and pray that he/she becomes well again even though he or she is not a Muslim.
.
5.  We help the old ladies whether they are Malay, Indian or Chinese. My mom would stop and give a lift to the old ladies who struggle walking up the hill, or walking down the hill in the hot sun.
.
Well, I guess the list is not extensive but basically we do help everyone, not just the Muslims but let's face it, the Muslims, especially in Palestine are the most oppressed, that's why we have to help them more. And other Muslims like in Cambodia and Indonesia are very poor, that it goes without saying that we need to help them, because they are our brothers and sisters.
.
Love and peace
