Assalamualaikum wbt and peace be upon you,
Last night my dad got a call that one of his clients died soon after arriving at the international airport in Madrid. So last night my parents had to call the client's family and they only came home at 1.30am.
.
This early morning, my mom got a call from AD's mom saying that her mom had died in Madrid. Only then that we know that my dad's client was AD's (my BFF at school) grandma. If you read my entry on "the Red Ferrari at my front gate", I did talk about AD's grandma. It is soooo sad to think that she died alone in Madrid and AD has lost his grandma. Condolences to Aunty Farah and family for this terrible loss.
.
Since AD's grandma is the close relation of our Supreme King, we hope that the process to bring back the body will be faster and she can be buried here in her own country.
.
Please send Al-Fatihah to Tunku Fauziah, may her soul rest in peace and may Allah grants my dad the two qirat which is promised for those who sincerely assist in the process of burying a fellow Muslim.
.
Peace

Mekah and Madinah Always On My Mind: The Final Chapter
Assalamualaikum wbt and peace be upon you.
I have decided that I need to finish this entry no matter what. Actually I wanted to write about the shopping experience there but I guess shopping is always the same, wherever you are. You need the skill to haggle, to have a keen eye on what things you really really want, to know and compare the prices and most importantly, how to bring the stuff back home.
.
When I was in Madinah, I bought among others, a Body Shop perfume coz it's cheaper there compared to in KL. In Mekah, we did a lot of exploring at all the shopping complexes and have fun with my sisters, Emir and his brother and sister.
.
Anyway, I do not plan to talk about shopping here. I want to talk about my experience on the Jabal Nur (the mountain of light). It's called Jabal Nur coz it glows like moonlight in the dark. This is where Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. received the first Surah from Jibril a.s. And because it glows in the dark, everbody climbs the mountain at night without any torchlight.
.
So, I decided to take pix along the way. When I looked back at the pix, these are what I saw. Actually there's more pix of angel's wings, little people on strange floating buildings or flying machines, and many many orbs.
.
This last pix is the most eerie coz there was no one there when I took the pix, but when I looked at the finish photo, a guy is standing there looking at me. He has no shirt on and I can see his body glowing in red like charcoal on fire. The lower part of his body is invisible. I think he is a Jinn. I think that's the mystery of Jabal Nur. Anyway, someone told me that they can smell sweet scent on every Friday night at the mountain. Wallahuaklam. Only Allah knows all and I am just a humble servant of God.
Peace

UNCLE ROHAIZAD IS GONE
Assalamualaikum wbt and peace be upon you,
On Tuesday, 3 days before the Aidil Adha, our neighbour Uncle Rohaizad died after 4 years of suffering from multiple complications like high blood pressure, diabetes and kidney failure.
.
He died at home at around 5 am but his family still took him to the hospital. The doctors couldn't revive him, and at 6am he was pronounced dead. My mom received the call and had to inform the other neighbours at the musolla. It was Subuh and the men recited the Yaasin after the prayers. Then my parents went to Hospital Serdang mortuary to prepare the body for burial while other neighbours made preparations at his home to receive the body.
.
However, the doctors wanted to perform a post mortem on the body coz Uncle Rohaizad died at home. So, my mom had to accompany Aunty Siti when she was being questioned by the police. Finally the police decided that there's no need to operate the body after looking at the hospital record.
.
So, finally the body was buried after Zuhur Prayer at the nearby Muslim cemetery. May Uncle Rohaizad rest in peace and Allah has pardoned all his sins.

Assalamualaikum wbt and peace be upon you,
Hi guys,
How's your Raya wherever you are in this world?
We went to my dad's kampung in Muar to celebrate Raya last week. We went to Mak Nojah's house of course coz that's where all of my dad's cousins gathered.
.
Coming back to KL was a pain coz the trip which usually takes about 2 hours ended up being 8 hours. My dad decided NOT to take the highway, so we took the winding road all the way from Muar, into Lubok Cina, Melaka, then Astana Raja, Chengkau and near 12km into Rembau, Negri Sembilan, the traffic had developed again. So, my dad turned around to Pilin, tried to get to Linggi then to Port Dickson. But my mom wanted to get into the highway at Pedas. I couldn't take the road anymore. I even vomited on the way. It was dark and when I had finished vomiting next to the monsoon drain, my mom turned around and realized that we had stopped next to a Chinese cemetery. Instead of being frightened, my mom read the signage and laughed really loud. I tell you, my mom is really weird. What we find funny isn't funny to her, but what is not funny to us, really tickles her. I quickly got myself into the car and bundled myself up in the blanket coz even the signage is really scary man coz it says "Tanah Perkuboran Cina" in washed black and white letters (and in old Bahasa Melayu spelling which we don't use anymore), and beyond is pitch black.
.
My dad then turned back towards Linggi, to the route which says Rantau and Port Dickson, 49 km. (haha). When he realized that mom was right all the way, he turned back, drove back next to the Chinese Cemetery and out to the Pedas exit into the Plus Highway, until we reached Senawang, my dad decided to take the Lekas highway (which actually is not Lekas at all, due to the jam and it's quite far from the Senawang Plus exit actually). So, we finally reached home at 11.05 last night, beat tired, and wasted one whole day of my precious Sunday. Today I got exam, didn't have time to study, and I don't know about my results guys. Now, this is really scary.
.
Oh, one more thing, I don't know what happened to my mom and dad but while we were taking the old route from Muar to Negri Sembilan, they decided to listen to Klasik National (HAVE YOU EVER HEARD WHAT THEY PLAY ON THAT CHANNEL?). I THINK MY PARENTS WERE POSSESSED BY THE GHOSTS OF OLD TIME. (COz my dad never ever listens to Klasik national). fINALLY, MY BIG SIS COULDN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE, SHE SCREAMED, PLEASE CHANGE THE CHANNEL, IT'S TORTURE. I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE. (I DO BELIEVE THAT'S THE MAIN REASON WHY I VOMITED).
.
So, how's YOUR Raya guys?

Baby Bro's Second Passed On Anniversary
Assalamualaikum wbt and peace be upon you,
I think the title tells all. Our family organized a tahlil and quran recitation at our home on Thursday recently in remembrance of my brother's passing. We miss you so much Muhammad Faris Imran. Sometimes I just can't accept the fact that he is gone. I feel like he's always standing next to me or watching me, while giggling all the time like he always did.
Peace

Simple Living Part 2
Assalamualaikum and peace be upon you,
Hi guys. Actually I've written this post sometime before but I saved it in draft coz I think it's too long. However, I think I should continue on this post coz I saw many pageviews on this.
1. As you already know, we got a hand phone t coz it's considered a neccessity now. So, i guess to live a simple life, you have to consider what is necessary and what is a luxury based on the situation and it can change from time to time.
.
Recently, my dad's friend, Uncle Yeop came to visit. Uncle Yeop was a successful Account Manager for a big IT company but he has lost his job. Now, he is trying to start back from scratch. He came to our house to make a demonstration on a vacuum cleaner from Germany called Roboclean.
He came to my room and sucked up all the dust mites (hama le tu) from the mattress and my selimut (lupa la bahasa Inggeris nye, apa tah). Next, he vacuumed the carpet in our family area upstairs. When my mom saw how bad the dust is (coz the dust is sucked into 2 litres of water, that's how we can see how bad our house is), my mom stated out loud that the carpet is going out of the window.
Today when I came home from school, the carpet has vanished. For your info, the carpet is very nice coz my mom bought it in Nepal. Now we have only one carpet that is the one in the prayer room (it's a soft carpet that can be washed in the washing machine).
.
Back to Uncle Yeop, the vacuum cleaner that he wanted to sell cost RM10,050 (about USD 3,500). Mom didn't want it because of the price. Actually, our dad had accidently destroyed our vacuum cleaner recently when he took it on Uncle Michael's van and forgot to put the wire in. When he moved the van, the vacuum was dragged out of the van and smashed on the road.
.
2.Now, because we have no vacuum cleaner and Uncle Yeop's mission to show how bad our home is with dust is accomplished, we are left with less carpet, and a simpler living is achieved. (Thanx Uncle Yeop).
.
3. With less vacuuming, we have to do more mopping and wiping.
.
4. About my room, because my mom saw the dust (mites) that Uncle Yeop sucked into his vacuum, now mom washes our mattress and everything else once a week and let it dry in the sun. (Mom said it's lucky that we use thin mattress that can go into the washing machine).
.
5. Oh, for those who read my post on "It's a Family Day Out", I told you that my sisters and I planned to skip school right. True enough, my big sis didn't go to school but my lil sis and I dare not. But mom was quite angry that day (after coming home from the airport and paying the bills) because we messed up the house and left the lighting on and water running that she shouted at us from the top of her lungs. I think she's actually angry with big sis for skipping school.
.
6. When I went to get my hair cut recently, mom told me to cut it really really short (like crew cut) to save our budget (the shorter it is, the more time it takes to grow longer, and we use less money for hair cut). Now I use a songkok (traditional hat) to school to cover my head and i think I look better he he.

My Trip To Universal Studios Singapore
Assalamualaikum wbt and peace be upon you,
Hi guys. Did you miss me during the weekend? Actually my family and I went to the Universal Studios, Singapore (USS) last Saturday. This is my second time there. We took Shareen and Omel on the trip too coz it was Omel's birthday. We went by bus with Poto Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd. Actually the company was doing its induction programme for its potential tour leaders. So, we got to go along as passengers.
Shareen making a "nenek" post.
Anis, Omel and Me wandering.
The heat made me tired.
THE most fun pix of Dida besides a lollypop tree.
All photos courtesy of Shareen (I'm such a lazy bum at uploading pix, sorry guys haha).
Anyone of you out there who wish to go to USS can contact Poto Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd. at 03-92006640. (The ticket price is less than RM200 per pax). You can either buy the tickets only or opt for a Singapore visit as well. If you wish to become a tour leader, you can also do so by taking up a short intensive course with the company. Hope you've enjoyed looking at these fun pix. I'll write a post on Singapore City Tour if I feel like it later hokay.
Thank you God for always rewarding us with good trips, wonderful surprises, beautiful times and lots of happy memories.

I'm Feeling Happy
Assalamualaikum wbt and peace be upon you,
Maybe you r wondering about the title of this post. So, let me tell you. My mom found out about something I did that is wrong. Actually my friends in school have been telling me to do it. I can't tell you what.
.
I thought I'd be beaten up by my dad but it didn't happen.
.
But my life has changed....
1. coz my mom would make sure that I perform the solatul jamaah at the musolla at all times without fail. She even came searching for me if I came home late from the musolla.
.
2. Coming back from the solat, I have to become the Imam for my sisters who pray at home.
.
3. My sisters and I have to read the quran and its meaning everyday after the Subuh prayer, maghrib prayer and Isya' prayer.
.
4. My mom puts an earphone in my ears when I go to sleep to listen to the surah in the Quran and strokes my hair before I go to sleep at night.
.
5. I am not allowed to sleep in my room but I have to sleep downstairs in the living room.
.
6.All of us are not allowed the internet without supervision.
.
7. My dad now wakes all of us up for the midnight prayers coz my mom said she wants all of us to be good and we would be reunited in jannah (heaven).
I guess the punishment is not at all bad except for number 5 and 6 above (my sisters are mad at me coz they are dragged into this as well).
So I'm feeling happy because my mom and dad didn't scold and beat me up. But I'm scared coz my mom has asked me to give the names of my friends in school. I don't know what she'll do to them. Now I know that I have to choose my friends carefully.
.
Peace
